Seres has a new face to show off. The Chongqing-based automaker debuted its humanoid robot, "Xiao Sai", on June 15 in a video featuring actor Huang Bo touring Seres' super factory as the robot played guide — showcasing vision recognition and voice interaction capabilities.
The factory floor is already a robot zoo: ground-air integrated logistics bots, embodied AI inspection units (Xiao Sai 01 and 02), collaborative robots, and follower robots handling production and logistics tasks across the plant. Seres is clearly betting big on intelligent manufacturing.
Editor's Note: Impressive robotics showcase, but Seres shares have shed nearly 50% over the past twelve months (SHA:601127). When the stock chart is steeper than the factory's automation curve, even humanoid robots cannot distract investors from the fundamentals.
