SAIC-GM-Wuling is quietly running one of the busiest export playbooks in the Chinese auto industry. Over the past few weeks, the Wuling-maker has hit production milestones across seven markets — Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Mexico, and Egypt — spanning both passenger EVs and commercial vehicles.

India: The F520S REV launched on August 26, passed its SOP-PQRR review on September 3 to enter mass production, and has already racked up over 10,000 orders.
Indonesia: The E112CR opened its SOP valve on September 10 — 1,923 units off the line and 1,012 delivered so far. The E260R MY26 completed its iterative development, with 1,440 mass-production orders delivered together with the supply chain.
Egypt: The 310S CKD project reached SOP on September 3, marking the model's first introduction to the Egyptian market.
Thailand and Hong Kong, China: The E112CR opened its S&SOP valve on September 9, with the first batch of 216 production vehicles rolling off the line.
Vietnam: Three models — F520M, N510M, and E110C — have completed CKD assembly and rolled off the final line.
Philippines: The N350V EV nine-seater entered production, fitted with European-standard charging. The project took just 3.5 months from kickoff to production — a speed most legacy automakers can't spell, let alone match.
Mexico: The F520S passed real-vehicle testing in 48–51°C heat in Mexicali, with SOP planned for the end of September.
The pattern here is CKD/SKD assembly: ship kits, build local, dodge tariffs, and localize fast. While headline-grabbing rivals fight for Europe, SGMW is doing the unglamorous work of industrializing emerging markets one SOP at a time — and ordering 10,000 units of an EV in India suggests the demand is real.
