Pirelli has developed a bespoke next-generation P Zero tire for the NIO ES9, the brand's 900V flagship executive SUV with three-row seating. Two sizes are offered: 275/45 R22 and 275/40 R23 (HL reinforced for heavy EVs).

Both variants feature Pirelli's ELECT™ EV-specific technology — reinforced structure to handle the ES9's weight and 700 Nm instant torque, plus low rolling resistance for extended range — and the PNCS™ noise-cancellation system, which uses inner-wall sound absorbers to complement the ES9's NVH engineering.

Developed using AI-driven virtual prototyping, the new P Zero earned a European wet grip Class A rating. Tires are manufactured at Pirelli's Shandong, China facility under its "Local for Local" strategy.
