BYD is not done reshuffling China's sedan market. Meet the Da Han — the flagship sedan counterpart to the Da Tang SUV, and it is coming in Q3 2026. Spy shots are out, and the proportions are serious: rumored length near 5.3 meters, wheelbase over 3.1 meters. That is full-size D-segment territory, parked right on the doorstep of the NIO ET9 and Mercedes EQS.
The design language is BYD's latest family face, but on a sedan it looks sharper and more athletic than on the SUV. The roof-mounted lidar confirms DiPilot B laser + DiPilot 5.0 is coming. The side profile has a subtle fastback slope that gives it presence without aping the Tesla Model S playbook.
Powertrain options will cover both PHEV and BEV. Second-gen Blade Battery and flash charging are locked in. The BEV variant is targeting 800 km and 1008 km range figures. If BYD prices this aggressively — and they will — the Da Han could become the default answer for buyers who want flagship sedan presence without flagship sedan sticker shock.
