Mercedes-Benz has opened pre-orders for its all-electric GLC SUV (Liujin Edition, five-seat high-spec trim) in China, priced from RMB 349,000 (~USD 48,200). The announcement was made June 5, with vehicles already arriving at dealerships nationwide.

Its ADAS system — co-developed with Momenta — offers city and highway navigation-assisted driving nationwide at launch, with door-to-door capability coming later this year.

Safety credentials include up to 11 airbags and over 230 global crash tests (nearly 80 in China). Pre-order perks: RMB 3,000 deposit expands to RMB 10,000, plus free upgrades to premium seats and Burmester 4D sound.
